Chemserve Systems is a signatory to the Responsible Care pledge and manufactures its products in a NOSA graded factory.
Regular air, water, dust, noise and lighting monitoring is undertaken according to the requirements of the Regulations for Hazardous Chemical Substances.
Chemserve Systems (CSS), one of Chemical Services' oldest subsidiaries, serves a diversified customer base in industrial cleaning, non-destructive testing, fire protection, marine, specialised lubricants, metal conversion coatings and silicone based products.
The company has gone through numerous changes over the years, often used as a nursery for development and to establish independent companies.
Consisting of six autonomous sales divisions, all serviced via a central technical division,where new product design and development is carried out. A production division is responsible for products manufactured at its Chloorkop site (approximately 70% of turnover).
Most major industries in South Africa are serviced with a wide product range.
Using technology supplied by major companies based in the UK and Europe new products and processes are constantly being introduced to the South African markets, this coupled with local design and development allows Chemserve Systems to remain a market leader in its fields of expertise.

The Chloorkop plant manufactures our range of approximately 450 products. It is a highly sophisticated plant with what is probably the widest range of powder, liquid and paste mixers in South Africa. It is able to toll manufacture for other companies.
Our technical centre at Chloorkop is a modern facility and certainly the largest of its kind in the Republic.Our complement of qualified technical staff directly support our field consultants and ensure that our products are correctly formulated, manufactured, quality controlled and subsequently used. Our chemists maintain very close ties with their counterparts in the numerous companies of our principals and associates.
